Report on Independence Day “Patriotic Song & Poem Competition” on 14th August 2025
To commemorate the 78th Independence Day of India, Kamkus College of Law organized a Patriotic Song and Poem Competition on 14th August 2025. The event was a part of the college’s week-long celebrations aimed at instilling a spirit of patriotism and honoring the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters. The theme of the event was “Honouring Freedom, Inspiring the Future” with the

The competition was conducted to encourage students to express their love and pride for the nation through creative and artistic mediums. It provided a platform for the budding lawyers of tomorrow to reflect on the values of freedom, justice, and unity.
The event commenced with the Lighting of lamp by our Chief Mentor Sh. Karunakar Shukla and Principal Dr. Ambuj Sharma and other faculty members before the Goddess of Knowledge and Wisdom Maa Saraswati followed by Saraswati Vandana. Students showcased their talents through soulful patriotic songs and emotionally powerful poems, both original compositions and famous works by Indian poets. Performances included songs such as “Ae Watan Tere Liye,” “Hai Preet Jahan Ki Reet,” and poems themed around bravery, unity, and sacrifice.
The audience, comprising faculty members and students, was visibly moved by the performances and responded with applause and appreciation. The event was expertly coordinated by Ms. Somna Singhal and Ms. Vartika Agnihotri.
Impact of the Event:
The event not only allowed students to connect with the values of Independence but also created a vibrant atmosphere of unity and national pride within the campus. Kamkus College of Law remains committed to nurturing socially responsible citizens and leaders of tomorrow through such meaningful engagements.

The programme concluded with the prize distribution to all the winners and a vote of thanks delivered by the Principal Sir, who praised the students for their spirited participation and the organizing team for their efforts.
