Report on National Museum visit 02- August- 2025

As part of our academic curriculum and to enhance experiential learning, a 60 students’ group of Kamkus College of Law visited the National Museum on 02 Aug 2025. The visit aimed to provide students with firsthand exposure to historical, cultural, and artistic heritage, supporting our classroom learning with real-world artifacts and narratives. visit was organized on 02th Aug, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The National Museum, located in New Delhi, is one of the most prominent institutions dedicated to preserving the nation's historical, cultural, and artistic legacy. It houses a vast collection of over artifacts ranging from prehistoric tools to modern art.

The museum is organized into several galleries and sections, including:

  • Archaeology Section – Featuring ancient tools, sculptures, and pottery from various civilizations.

  • Ethnology and Anthropology Wing – Displaying tribal culture, textiles, musical instruments, and traditional practices.
  • Natural History Section – Exhibiting preserved specimens, fossils, and geological samples.

Many students expressed that the visit made history more tangible and accessible. The group discussions during and after the tour enriched the experience, leading to collaborative learning. The museum staff provided informative explanations and guided us through the exhibits with enthusiasm.
