Report on Deekshotsav – Traditional Sports Competition on 21st August 2025

According to the guidelines of Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCSU), Meerut, Kamkus College of Law organised a “Deeksh-Utsav” (pre-convocation celebration) on campus ahead of the university’s upcoming 37th Convocation. The celebration was held in line with Raj Bhavan guidelines for pre-convocation activities that foster academic pride, community engagement, and student-parent participation before the formal degree-conferral ceremony. The University announced organisation of the pre-convocation Programme on August 12, 2025; the convocation has been proposed for September 18, 2025.

The University aimed to fulfil the following Objectives with this Pre-Convocation Celebration-

  • To acquaint graduating students with the values, decorum, and ceremonial protocols of the convocation.
  • To celebrate academic achievement with parents, mentors, and peers in a culturally rooted format.
  • To showcase the University’s recent milestones and encourage civic-mindedness through outreach and cleanliness drives.

The Students of Kamus College of Law Participated in the event with full zeal and enthusiasm along with the Sports man spirit. The event was well organized under the Mentorship of our Chief Mentor Sh. Karunakar Shukla with the Valuable inputs of Dr. Ambuj Sharma, Principal Kamkus College of Law and Dr. Neetu Mankotia, HOD (Law), Kamkus College of Law. The Program was Successfully coordinated by the members of Organizing Committee- Mr. Kripal Singh and Ms. Somna Singhal with cooperation of all faculty and staff members.
