While the law's influence can be profound, its impact may not be readily apparent to the casual observer.

The Indian Constitution itself exemplifies this by making various provisions to regulate education. These include mandating compulsory education, ensuring educational facilities for minorities, promoting linguistic diversity, prohibiting discrimination, and clearly defining the educational jurisdiction of both the central and state governments.
