Legal Aid Committee

Aims & Objective

Legal Aid Clinics serve a dual purpose: they bridge the gap between theoretical legal education and practical experience for law students, and they provide much-needed legal services to the underprivileged. Recognizing that the study of law is a professional pursuit, these Clinics immerse students in the realities of the legal field while fostering a spirit of service towards the most vulnerable members of our society.

About KCL Legal Aid Centre

Beyond serving as a valuable learning tool, the Legal Aid Clinic aspires to be a hub of innovation and experimentation. Kamkus College of Law, recognizing the need for a community-responsive and socially relevant legal education, established the Clinic with the ultimate goal of developing effective approaches to both legal pedagogy and service delivery. This initiative ensures that legal education benefits not only future lawyers but also the most disadvantaged members of society.
